Apartamentos Caspe

The terrace was one of our favorite spots, with its greenery under the palms and a lovely view of the Ebro's bends. We ate breakfast there every day. The apartment itself was spacious, very clean, and had a modern kitchen and comfortable, practical decor. There was also a large private parking space right outside. We came for a week during the Vuelta for juniors cycling race. Jésus welcomed us warmly, switching between French and Spanish, and his son Victor spoke fluent English. They went out of their way to help, from bringing extra bread knives to sharing restaurant and regional travel tips. The pool was a seven-minute walk away, not on the property. It was a big, grassy 25-meter outdoor pool with olive trees and loungers, and we often had it to ourselves. A good, fairly priced restaurant serving local food was nearby. The river was exceptionally low, which was unfortunate for people visiting the village's marine club. Our only small drawback was the lack of air conditioning. We kept the apartment fairly cool, but with summer temperatures reaching 40 degrees these days it could be needed. The owners said they planned to install it in the coming months, so that should be sorted. We'd like to come back next summer.
