The balcony was easily the best part: roomy, with a lovely view. Everything inside was awful. Three of us spent two weeks there, and the room felt like a dump. The kitchen barely deserved the name, with a lousy stovetop, and there was nowhere to eat in the so-called living room. The bedroom and bathroom were both tiny, with tiny windows; the bathroom felt like a prison, had a shower curtain, and constantly smelled of sewer from the pipes. Storage was so limited that our suitcase had to stay on the balcony. There was no parking, and reception couldn't give us a second key for the door, which was inconvenient. Never again.

Marcela is a wonderful hostess, always ready to help, and her apartments are the best in the building and in Platja d'Aro. This one is exquisite, with every detail carefully considered.
