Camping Riembau

It’s a big campsite with lots of long stay residents, and most pitches are small. The restaurant is very good, though, and the swimming pool is biiiiiig! It’s not bad, just nothing especially special.

We had our own caravan and found this a lovely, very clean site with all the amenities. There’s a nice shop and restaurant, the pools are great, and the friendly staff do a top job keeping everything clean. We’ll go back time and time again.

If you have a dog, avoid this place. There’s just one section for people with pets, and it’s like a shanty town, full of dirty, untidy static campers. ACSI requires a two night minimum. We can’t say what the rest of the campsite is like because there are “no dog” signs everywhere. We were glad to leave.

There’s space for a tent, mobile home or camper on the partly shaded pitches, and the campsite has two pools and activities for the kids. The sanitary block ladies deserve a round of applause. They keep it clean, and we respect that. Everyone else is doing their best to keep the place tidy too, though campers need to do their part. The wifi signal was weak, which is one small downside. Some campers ignore traffic and safety rules, and leaving towels on sunbeds while you’re away is a disgusting attitude. The campsite supervisors should address that, along with the traffic rules and adults keeping an eye on their kids. 🚦🛑🚸
