The location was the one bright spot, close to shops, the beach, the funfair, and other sites. Everything else was really bad and not worth the money. The rooms had damage all over the walls, and the service was garbage. They hardly came to clean, and although the kitchen staff were positive, I didn’t like the food at all. It was too dry and could use improvement. The balcony doors could also be opened from outside. When I first arrived, I accidentally went into the wrong room after the cleaning lady let me in, and an angry Spanish family immediately yelled at me. It was an honest mistake, so that felt absurd.

The nearby beaches are lovely and have nothing to do with this hotel. We’d suggest looking at another nearby place to stay. For check-in, allow an hour, and checkout took us two hours, so be prepared for a long wait that could cost you your flight or patience. We had to pay a €100 euro deposit for a room that was already broken, and were told that’s what to expect with an economy room. The website and booking.com photos gave us a very different impression. We asked to switch rooms and got one that was a little less broken, but it smelled like old student accommodation. The first room had smelled like a construction site and sewer, so the new one was presented as a superior upgrade. At best, this is a one-star hotel.

We got there just as the restaurant was closing, but they welcomed us and cooked fresh food for us at the buffet. The service was so friendly, nothing to fault there. The room was clean, with a good kitchen and working air con, and we had everything we needed. We stayed in winter, so the pool was closed, though it looked like it would be nice in summer.

The place was clean and I didn’t see any pests, but I wouldn’t really want to return. I got the impression that several staff members were a bit racist. I was there for an all-inclusive festival, and they were generous with the wine; the food was okay. Some waiters were great, though many were somewhat rude. I was asked for identity documents several times and wasn’t allowed to get a sun lounger. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and it worked only intermittently in shared areas. The four-person apartment felt very small, and the bathroom had no lock.
