The noise was heavy around the clock, with teenage groups staying up late, so this really isn't a place I'd choose with kids or family. If you're traveling with friends just to have fun, be careful too. We spent two days mostly away from the building, relaxing at the beach, but when we checked out, the owners took €300 from our deposit, claiming the apartment wasn't clean enough. They shared videos to justify keeping the money, but it was literally just a couple of unclean pans. I'm sure there are better places, this isn't worth the risk.

My full €200 deposit was withheld, and the host stopped responding. I sent 12 photos at checkout showing the apartment spotless. The host said small Cola Cao splashes in a photo meant the apartment needed a full repaint. I asked for a video showing they had tried to clean it first, but they refused and went silent. During the stay, they tried to charge an extra €84.75 for my 3-year-old child. They confirmed in writing that they would waive it, then tried to use it against me after I disputed the deposit. I filed a formal dispute with Booking.com and provided all my documentation. Still no reply, no video, and no deposit returned. I also attached the WhatsApp communication. This host takes your deposit and ghosts you. Document absolutely everything if you stay here.

The apartments are new, clean, and nicely decorated, right on the main street with lots of great restaurants nearby. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the upper-floor apartments have sea views. Highly recommend!

The location is ideal, and the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. I've never stayed anywhere better. The apartment at Daro Apartment Playa de Aro was beautiful, modern, spotless, and cared for down to the smallest detail. Everything was set up for a comfortable, relaxing stay, so all you have to do is enjoy yourself. Five stars don't cover it, I'd give more if I could. 1000% recommended, a real gem.
