Medplaya Hotel Monterrey

The restaurant waiters are superb, and the buffet lets you eat as much as you like with food that's quite decent. For a 3-star hotel, the bedrooms are a good size and modern inside, and the balconies are simple but nice. It's a pleasant family hotel. My one complaint is the noise in the corridors by the bedrooms. I'd certainly return.

I slept well on the comfortable mattresses, and the rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast was a highlight during my pleasant stay at this dependable three-star hotel. The only drawback was having to pay for the in-room safe. Thanks for a great experience!

The beach is close by, which was a plus, and Saul was kind and helpful. Mehdi, the animator, also made bingo fun. The rest of the stay was chaotic. The air conditioning and safe didn't work, and the buffet was disappointing, with cold food and little variety, especially for a longer stay. The reception manager came across as discourteous and tense, and didn't listen to what clients needed.

We had a sea view, and the room air conditioning was amazing. The food was lovely every day, and the restaurant manager was friendly and really organized. The girls at reception were helpful, too. It's a 3 star hotel with 5 star service, and the staff were so friendly. There's entertainment for kids around the pool, plus aqua fit in the pool if that's your thing. The location worked well for beaches, shops, and quiet bars and restaurants. Thanks, hotel Monterry, for a wonderful week. 😁 We'll be back soon.
