There's no luggage storage if you arrive before check-in, though an earlier check-in before 4 pm may be possible. The reception is virtual, so contact them on WhatsApp before or when you arrive. They were kind and quick to help by phone and message. Evenings could be a little noisy, as you'd expect in a city, but it wasn't a problem for us. The location is handy for the train station and night buses to the airport when trains aren't running yet. A taxi or Uber to the airport is reasonably priced, and Barcelona is just 20-25 minutes away by train. There are bars, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and had what we needed to cook: dishes, pans, a big pot, chopping board, scissors, microwave, mini fridge and Dolce Gusto machine, plus an iron and board, hairdryer, safe and cleaning supplies. They also left a starter kit with a new sponge, an extra bin bag, dish soap, a sponge cloth and a few other things I don't quite remember. The shower can overflow pretty easily.

The train station is very close, which is about the only good thing I can say about the location. The room was old, dirty and full of poor-quality items. We found it unclean, and had to be careful with everything because it seemed nearly broken. The kitchen equipment was so old it couldn't be used. The air conditioning worked badly and took ages to cool the room. The hotel also asks you to switch it off when you're in the room. The pictures online make everything look nice, but that wasn't what we found. A really bad place.

I found bed bugs in my room, and it ruined the stay. I reported it, but the property's response didn't deal with how serious the problem was. I had uncomfortable, sleepless nights and worried about bringing the bugs home. They also didn't take proper steps to compensate me. Bed bugs are a health concern and suggest poor hygiene and upkeep. I'd urge future guests to think carefully before booking if they're not prepared to risk this and poor management.

I wouldn't use this place for business travel. I needed a tax invoice, but the property didn't provide one for my stay or for the tourist tax they collected separately. After I chased them, they sent an invoice only for the amount paid to the provider, not the full price I paid. That wasn't tax-admissible. I asked them to correct it, and they stopped replying. During the stay, communication stopped after check-in. Halfway through, I used the requested reception chat to ask for clean towels and room cleaning, but neither request got a response. Cleanliness was OK, but the property is getting old and maintenance is poor, especially in the bathroom. For the price, it was well below what I expected, and not worth the hassle if you need a tax invoice.
