It’s 2 am and I’m writing this from the room after arriving close to 1 am. I paid online and got a video explaining how to get in, but getting that sorted was already like pulling teeth. They didn’t answer my question about WiFi, so I’ve had to use my own data. I’m on the ground floor, and the terrace door won’t shut. The room is freezing, and I can’t sleep because I’m worried about safety. I’m still lying here fully dressed. Even the outlet I plugged my phone into has no power. If I could find somewhere suitable, I’d leave right now.

The rooms are small but clean. The front desk and room staff were very friendly. In summer it gets very warm, so the air conditioning needs to run almost 24/7.

Castelldefels is a great area, near enough to trains into Barcelona without the city’s tourist crowds. The hotel was affordable and clean, and staff were really helpful, especially Irene. I had a great time and would recommend it. The one issue was noise in the hall at night, with people standing outside the door talking. That wasn’t the staff’s fault, but there was nobody around to keep the noise down.

Expedia helped me switch to another hotel the next day. The staff here were very rude and unwilling to help. This place shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel. I’d rather sleep on a train station floor than stay here.

Room 16 has a lovely terrace area for guests, and some of the rooms at the front have balconies. The location is great, the price is very affordable, and the staff are extremely friendly. I didn’t mind the breakfast despite what others said: good coffee, croissants, toast with butter and jam, and eggs are all I need, especially with so many great restaurants around for lunch and dinner. Muchas gracias!
