I lost €25 when my food delivery went missing, and the whole exchange at reception left a terrible impression. The driver sent a photo of the bags on the table by the entrance. A receptionist said she hadn't seen anyone, then, after I pressed, acknowledged speaking to the driver but said she wasn't allowed to accept the order. Nobody had told me at check-in that deliveries weren't accepted. She also said she couldn't call my room, and before I could answer, said there were no cameras outside so nothing could be done. There are signs saying the area is under camera surveillance. Back upstairs, I tried the app without success, then called again and asked her to check with other staff. She said she was alone and couldn't help, though I could see maintenance staff from my window. When I persisted, she said she'd already asked and nobody had seen anything. The order was never found, and Uber confirmed it was delivered. I still don't know whether the driver or someone at the hotel acted in bad faith. Management should review the camera footage. The hotel's staff negligence and lack of professionalism could cost it much more than the €25 I lost. The stay itself was also rough. I barely slept for six nights because of constant noise from other guests and cleaning staff talking loudly with doors wide open. I'm not a light sleeper, so it really must have been persistent. The soundproofing is poor, the apartment was dusty, my room's fridge was dirty, and the pool chairs were in terrible shape. I've stayed in simpler places that felt much more welcoming. At check-in, the receptionist was cold and impatient. There were only three groups waiting, but when it was my turn she asked whether I'd heard the instructions she'd given the others, so she wouldn't have to repeat them. From that point, I didn't expect much. The property looked pleasant and modern in the photos, with a nice leisure area, but my experience was one of my worst lodging stays.

The building's soundproofing is a joke, and the staff were really noisy in the morning while cleaning rooms. The front desk staff were extremely rude. I arrived a day after my partner, so no check-in was needed. Lydia at reception didn't look at me or ask for a passport or anything. Someone with bad intentions could easily have entered and done as they pleased. The receptionist was useless. She wouldn't accept our supermarket order and told the delivery person to take it back, even though we were in the building waiting for it. When we asked Lydia about it, she was rude for no reason.

CRISTINA earned five stars from me. I left my backpack in the lobby when my family and I got into a taxi. She ran after us but couldn't catch up. I only noticed the bag was missing at the airport. When I returned, she had it secured. That's the kind of service we appreciate, and it brought my rating up to four stars. I was there for four days. The location is the big plus, lovely and within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. The downsides: the A/C has very little power, so expect to sleep with the windows wide open and hear cars, buses and people talking. The keys disconnect easily near phones or credit cards, and I had to get mine reactivated twice in four days. There's no concierge around the clock. I think reception is staffed until 7 pm, with a phone available after that.

The poor service made this a regrettable choice. Reception staff were incredibly rude and made racist remarks toward us. My brother felt uncomfortable throughout the stay.
