Ampuries Delta Apartment

The host was incredibly welcoming, and the apartment was spotless, with all the amenities we needed and a view of the sea. There's no parking at the apartment, but there are lots of free spaces around it, and we found one every day. Excellent value for money.

The hostess was so thoughtful and charming, and I'm very grateful for her kindness and attention. The apartment was lovely and clean, and had such a welcoming feel that I felt right at home. I'd definitely return. Highly recommended.

We've been staying here since arriving on Sunday, April 21, 2019, in the San Luis residence on the 13th floor. There are a few things that really need fixing for the future. The water heater is far too small. A bigger one could be fitted in the bathroom. I ended up washing in cold water, then accidentally touched the hot/cold tap and got a splash of scalding water in my face. More of a scare than anything, but it was close. Ladies, rinsing shampoo out will be difficult. The reversible air conditioning doesn't work, and it's freezing at this time of year. There's no blanket or duvet to use if it breaks down, and no heating, which is a real shame. The cutlery's an issue too, especially the knife that won't cut. Scissors would help, and a washing machine would be welcome. Those are the negatives I've found. The rest is positive. The location is great, about 50 meters from the sea. From what I gathered, parking is free until mid-June, then becomes paid from the second half of June. Don't ask me the price, I don't know. There are bars and restaurants nearby. A halal butcher shop for Muslims is close to the Spar supermarket, about 300 meters from the San Luis residence. I've posted photos and a comment about the halal butcher shop. You can also rent an electric boat for about an hour without a boating license, or an electric scooter for two. There are lots of activities available, for a fee, of course.
