Apartamento Cargols 1

We've stayed at Cargols five times now. Its spot directly across from the beach is hard to beat, and the service, amenities, and cleanliness have impressed us on every visit. The price for what you get is excellent.

We booked Cargols d.M 5 at short notice in early October, and the website made it easy. Booking was quick and the contact was very friendly. The house was in great condition and spotlessly clean, furnished just like the photos. Everything was well maintained, including the coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. There was no kettle, but we had a stove. The pool was clean too. The location was great for the price and amenities, right on the beach with only a street to cross. The harbor entrance is around 100 meters away, and it's a 10-minute walk to the shopping street. We didn't want to leave. Five stars for the owner and the house.

We had a lovely week as a family, and the apartment, location, and hosts were all excellent. When a bag with valuables was stolen from our car right outside the apartment during the Saturday market, the host was very helpful. Watch out on market days. Even so, this place definitely deserves five stars, and we'd highly recommend it.

Residència Cargols de Mar in Empuriabrava, Spain, consists of five renovated terraced houses on the beachfront promenade near the canal entrance, with yacht moorings behind them. Each house has three floors: the garage and laundry room are on the ground floor. The kitchen, living area, and a guest toilet with shower are on the first. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and another shower bathroom, with a roof terrace and sun loungers on the top floor. It's a beautiful holiday home with a fairly exclusive feel, reasonable value for the price, and a very friendly, dedicated couple managing it.
