BT Vent de Garbí

The furniture wasn't suitable for a young child: iron chairs, a low table in front of the sofa, and a large iron table with a thick glass top and sharp corners. The apartment was clean, the bedding was good quality, and the dishes were basic. We also had trouble with the hot water, but the staff were completely unresponsive throughout our seven-day stay. The only exception was the last day, when management reminded us to leave the keys at reception. We could only reach anyone by calling the emergency number. We were given a very poor welcome because we arrived after 11 pm following a car accident, and this cost us an extra €20 in cash.

We’ve been here three times now and will come again. Great place, and the owner is very warm-hearted!

The location in Empuriabrava is excellent, but that's the only real plus for us. The apartment is old and needs renovation, with dated, poorly maintained furniture and a kitchen that's both outdated and barely equipped. The two living-room sofas are worn out and uncomfortable, and the TV is about the size of a computer monitor. There’s no washing machine or clothesline, among other shortcomings. We felt misled by the advertising, especially the Booking.com photos and reviews. The price feels like it's for a four-star stay, but the place doesn't even reach three, especially since an aparthotel stay includes no breakfast, daily cleaning, or 24-hour reception. Parking costs extra too, which could otherwise have made up for some of the disappointment. I really can't recommend it.

The apartment was very comfortable and well soundproofed, and it was great to have a pool shared by so few apartments. The staff were super friendly, especially Maite, thanks for everything. The location was excellent, 800 m from the beach, with good restaurants and entertainment venues all around. I recommend renting a parking space in the same building, since it's good value.
