Our room kept the character of the stone building, with tasteful renovations, comfortable beds, and everything we needed. Vicky looked after us so well, and English was no problem if your school Spanish has faded. The breakfasts each morning were amazing, but I'll leave the details as a surprise. La Casona Negre sits on a lovely square, with a restaurant, bar, and convenience shop all within a five-minute walk. It's a great spot for enjoying Castello d’Empuires, and Empuria Brava is only seven minutes away by car for a parachuting trip. We had a fantastic time here.
