Yeguada Senillosa - Turismo Rural

It’s a lovely area, and the hostess was very kind. We changed our booking to Casa Lago shortly before arriving, and the staff were very helpful with that. It faces the lake, where you can use the boats, and it’s nice to look out at the water from the windows. It’s also a good choice if you’re bringing pets. You can see the many horses, which are clearly well cared for, and pet them when they come into the area in front of the stables. Some people mention flies, but that’s normal in summer when there are horses around. Keep that in mind and bring plug-in repellents to help.

We booked this unique casa rural at the last minute for a weekend in the Emporda, without expecting much, and were completely taken with its beauty. It’s a special place in a beautiful nature preserve, and it’s great for families with children. Josie was a lovely, welcoming host. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back.

Flies and mosquitoes were everywhere, all the time, and there was horse manure around as well. Josi was there to help. The location is superb, though the place is a little dated.
