NH Castellón Mindoro Hotel

The rooms are clean and comfortable, about what I'd expect from this kind of NH property. What stood out was the staff: everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional, and nothing seemed like too much trouble.

The breakfast selection was amazing. We only tried it on our last day and wished we'd gone every morning. The staff were so kind and helpful while we moved our daughter from the US to Castellon. She stayed with us for two nights until her apartment was ready, and they made sure we were all looked after. One day I lost an earring and had no idea where it had gone; the housekeeper found it while cleaning and left it on my bedside table. It wasn't expensive, but that attention was really sweet. There was some construction nearby, though getting around was still easy, and the view was beautiful.

The room was comfortable and well equipped for work or a holiday, with a fridge, espresso machine, air conditioning, and a balcony with a view. The hotel is right in the heart of town, surrounded by restaurants. Service was great, and breakfast had lots of choices, including gluten-free options.

We came back to NHMindoro on 14/08/25 to see family, and had another excellent stay. This time the room was beautiful, with a lovely en-suite and a frosted-glass partition from the main bedroom that made the room feel bright. We appreciated having coffee-making facilities this visit, and the breakfast was a treat: loads to choose from, all delicious, especially the individual fruit salads. They even have a children's area with decorated bowls and cutlery, bibs, and colouring mats. The staff are always welcoming, kind, and helpful. This is definitely our go-to in Castellon. On our earlier stay, the room was a good size, very clean, and had extra seating as well as a desk and chair. It was cleaned to a high standard every day. The front-of-house team were friendly and welcoming, and their English was very good, which we appreciated. There were lots of bodegas and places to eat nearby, plus a supermarket, and the main shopping district was a short walk away. Our one complaint then was that there were no coffee-making facilities in the room.
