Fernando made sure we were comfortable throughout and kindly worked around our schedule when we arrived. The house has everything you need, from blankets and kitchenware to quality furniture. It’s such an idyllic spot to get away and switch off. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it.

Castillo Pedroso sits on a hill, with spectacular views across the Pasiegos Valleys. Most places we wanted to visit were only a 30-45 minute drive away, so getting out on excursions was easy. We spent a week at the house this July with 11 people, and there was plenty of space. It was comfortable and spotless, and the owners were always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. We hope to come back sometime.

Fernando, the owner, was friendly and genuine, and paid attention to every detail. The house is in a peaceful setting, so it’s easy to disconnect, while still being close to lots of activities and places to visit in the Pasiegos Valleys of Cantabria. A fantastic place for that kind of break.

We were delighted with our stay. The owners were lovely and suggested places to visit and swim. The house was very clean and looked just like the photos. There’s plenty of room, with large bedrooms and a spacious living room. The porch was great in both good and rainy weather, letting us spend time outside either way.

The garden was a real lifesaver on our family trip with the children, and the village was charming. The house was comfortable and had so much equipment that we didn’t need to ask the owners for anything. They were lovely and always available. The house exceeded our expectations. Simply, THANK YOU.
