Maira was so kind and helpful. The apartment was spacious and spotless, and having coffee and pastries ready for breakfast was a lovely touch.

She seemed nice, but some of what she said got to me, especially the way she said it and what she said about my dog. We take him out every day, and there were other dogs around too, but she blamed mine for barking. Things could’ve been said more nicely.

The room fridge had a little freezer, handy for keeping water cold on our hikes. They’d also thoughtfully left milk, juice, and what we needed for breakfast. We had trouble getting into the house on our second night, but they sorted it out in five minutes. It’s a quiet, clean place and a great base for excursions. We’ll definitely come back when we visit the Alcarria region again.

Marina gave us excellent service, and the apartment room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. La Insula was a lovely surprise while we were looking for somewhere to stay for the weekend in Molina. It’s a spectacular rural guesthouse in a great spot for anyone after some quiet. One small suggestion: breakfast would be perfect if it weren’t just packaged pastries, though I know that’s not easy. We’ll be back soon to see the area in the cold, hopefully with snow.

Marina, who helped me, was lovely, and everything was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the modest rooms were as described. There’s no Wi-Fi, which suits a stay meant for switching off. The place feels like a peaceful little haven, with fields nearby for a stroll. You can also walk to Molina de Aragón on a pedestrian path, though it takes about an hour.
