The manageress and staff couldn't be nicer, and the hotel is just steps from the castle. We loved our three nights in this cozy, charming place. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a nice view of the small town square. Street parking was right in front. Breakfast was included in the room price and served across the square at Cafe Rubio: coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, toast, and coffee. There's also a gift shop selling local food, art, and jewelry. It's a perfect base for hiking and exploring the Ribera Sacra area and vineyards.

I loved the cozy place and its brick walls, and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows weren't, unfortunately. The shower was great, with strong pressure and very hot water. The room could have been warmer, as it got pretty cold at night. Try their traditional cake if you get the chance, it's really good, and they sell it at the hotel too.

The location near the castle and the rooms were both great, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with bica, toast with olive oil, and excellent coffee. Everything was perfect during our stay.
