I had a very positive stay at Emebed Posada and would definitely return. The room was downstairs, clean and basic, with plenty of space and a fantastic view of the countryside to the south. The bathroom was just as nice, and I enjoyed breakfast in the ground-floor salon. The hotel is a modern redesign of old town houses. I spoke with the owner about how the building had been transformed into such a lovely hotel. I was walking the Camino de Santiago in September 2025 and stayed for one night. My Camino travel partners, @Magichillholidays in Ireland, made a good choice recommending it.

The room was generous in size, and the bathroom was the best we had during a month of travel around Spain and Portugal. Marguerite is passionate about the place and its service, and an interesting person to talk with. The restored village house sits in the town square, and the quality of the work is first class, a credit to the local workers. We stayed just one night, but found this small hotel outstanding. Meeting people completing the Camino added an extra point of interest.

I booked at the last minute and was welcomed by Magerita, who showed me around the beautifully restored 19th-century building. Everything felt tasteful and in its proper place. My room was quite large, and the bathroom was new and clean. The next morning, Margerita made me a lovely, very personal breakfast, with the smell of fresh toast waking me up. This hotel is a hidden gem. I can’t think of anything they could have done to make me feel more welcome.

After a long, tiring bike ride, we walked in and went straight into relax mode. The terrace was lovely for a few drinks, and breakfast was served personally. Margarita and her colleagues were amazing, and the hotel was really lovely. Everything was wonderful and without fault. Worth every penny or cent.
