The dinner and breakfast are still on my mind. We spent a week around the Basque area, with its spectacular restaurants, but that dinner was unforgettable, and the breakfast was easily the best we had. Even kings would envy it. I envy myself, honestly. What made the meals special was how personal they felt. There was cheese Ale and Sol had found on a visit to France, wine from a friend's winery, pork steak from their neighbor's farm, and vegetables. Add in all the care and hospitality, and it felt like food made with love. We learned a lot from them about Spanish culture, and planned parts of our trip together. They pointed us toward wineries and beautiful places we might not have found otherwise. One conversation even sent us skiing in Formigal 🎿 🤣 The whole stay was relaxing, with a cozy room in a beautiful home, lovely chats that stretched into the night, rare board games, and magical decor. Ale and Sol are the kindest hosts, and it felt like visiting local friends. We had a special, tasty stay that felt like home. Thanks, Sol and Ale. We'll definitely come back when we get the chance. Hope you enjoyed the coffee we brought 😉

Ale and Sol made us feel very well looked after, with lovely service and care in all the details. Their breakfasts and dinners were delicious, too. The place itself is a cozy Bed & Breakfast in the Rioja region, surrounded by peaceful nature, with green, wooded hills behind it. We had a really nice, comfortable stay.

The owners were so friendly and glad to recommend things to do and see around the region. Our room was roomy and very clean, and both meals were delicious. The dinner menu was fantastic, and breakfast was just as good. A lot of the food was homemade with local ingredients. A fantastic hotel, very much worth recommending!

We loved having Spanish wine in Ale and Sol's backyard as the sun went down over the countryside. The pueblo was a lovely break from the busy Spanish cities, and we enjoyed being tucked away there. Our room was warm and cozy, with personal touches and Ale and Sol's own style. The bed was comfortable, and we liked sleeping with the windows open so we could hear the stream. Ale made wonderful dinners and breakfasts with local ingredients, and Sol took great care of us at meals. The home-cooked Spanish dishes with an Argentinian twist were fantastic. They were both warm, funny, kind and generous, and it was a pleasure getting to know them. Ale and Sol, thank you so much for sharing Naquela with us for a few days. It felt like a home away from home, and this was one of our favorite travel experiences ever. We're so grateful we got to meet you. Thanks for everything! Jenna + Brian

Tucked away in nature, this place is a real gem. The hosts were kind and attentive. We stayed for two nights and had dinner there one evening. It was very good, and I'd highly recommend it.
