I hope nobody else has this kind of weekend. The owners turned what looked like ideal accommodation for a peaceful break into a miserable experience. They were rude, aggressive, and arrogant, and when I raised concerns about the photos, they started shouting and became very aggressive. I don't know where those pictures were taken, but they certainly weren't of this rural guesthouse. Be careful with them.

Booking.com is still looking into this, but the way we were treated was unacceptable. After we checked in, they canceled our reservation an hour and a half later because they didn't like that we said we'd been kept waiting. Before that, we'd waited 30 minutes past the agreed time, even though we'd let them know when we would arrive. We nearly missed our lunch reservation, and they didn't even apologize.

Mercedes is a lovely host and always available if you need anything. The apartments are clean and have everything you need, and the location makes it easy to explore town on foot without a car.

We found the place very clean and well equipped, and the hostess was friendly. It's also in a great location. In summer, though, be careful opening the windows during the day: the neighboring rooftops have lots of wasps, and they can get inside easily. Someone with us had allergies and almost got stung. I know the nests are the neighbors' responsibility, but mosquito screens would help prevent this. It may sound minor, but if you don't know about it, it could spoil your holiday, and screens seem like an easy fix.
