There weren’t any mosquito screens, so opening a window meant flies got into the house and bathroom. We never met the owner. We got a call lasting about 40 seconds when we arrived with the door code and a “Welcome to Cazorla,” but no area map, tips, welcome or farewell gift, or anything else. The name is Casa de las Flores, yet there are only five tiny flowerpots on the windowsills, without flowers, while practically every balcony in Cazorla is overflowing with flowers of every color. I can’t say whether there’s Wi-Fi, since we didn’t need it, but we didn’t see a sign with the username and password, as is usually provided.

Mar was attentive and friendly, and even gave us a little gift at the end. The house is welcoming, well located and has all the appliances you could need. The views are breathtaking. We’d definitely repeat the experience.
