The owners were friendly and easy to reach, and the estuary views were lovely. Rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the towels are excellent. There’s coffee in the room and a free washing machine with detergent. One thing to know, the doors open with your smartphone.

Lires was a lovely surprise, and the location makes a great base for exploring the whole Costa da Morte. The beach is beautiful, especially at sunset, and the beach bar is a nice extra. All four restaurants were excellent. Elena, the hotel manager, was so attentive and helpful. When the hotel washing machine was busy, she kindly did my laundry in her own. The accommodation has lovely details throughout, and the waterbed in the attic was spectacular. 😃😃 Highly recommended! 💯

We stayed from June 20th to 26th and had a wonderful few days. The place is beautiful, with spectacular beaches and scenery nearby. The apartment felt new, was very clean and well cared for, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. Elena, our host, was lovely and always ready to help.

The manager looked after us really well, and the apartment was spotless with everything new. I usually find pillows worth complaining about, but these were the most comfortable ones. A very nice place to come back to.
