The cook starts at 8pm, and my meal was excellent. This is a modest, good-value place to rest on the Camino de Finistere. The staff are warm and friendly, even though they don’t speak much English. A good, cheap stop.

The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and the team works well together. Everyone was very nice and friendly. It’s close to shops and the coast, and the rooms are fine for a short stay. The decor is quite old-fashioned, though that didn’t really matter to me. Breakfast times suit people walking the Camino de Finisterre, and the hotel gives Camino groups a great feed. It’s family-owned and very family-friendly, so with young kids I think a week here would work well. For a couples trip, I wouldn’t recommend it. The staff speak Spanish fluently and have very good English. Great service, especially for a night or two.

Pepe and his daughter Sandra were so kind, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to look after what we needed, including vegan meals. The food was excellent, and they treated us like family.

The staff were very kind, and the hotel sits right on the Camino Fisterra. The rooms feel very dated, with 1950s decor, and although Wi-Fi was provided, it never worked. There’s no A/C. The bathtub was long and deep, but the starched towels felt scratchy. The elevator never actually failed, but riding it took some faith and was terrifying. The proprietor made fun of the noises I made.
