The service was terrific, and scanning the QR code made it easy to see the menu. I really liked the house salad mix and those hard-boiled eggs were salted just right. The garden seating outside is lovely. I wasn't keen on the sherry sauce with my trout, but I'd like to come back and try something different.

We weren't rushed at all, even though the restaurant was full for a weekday lunch. They took the time to explain the menu in English, and the food was out of this world. Great atmosphere and service, too. This was the best restaurant I've visited in Spain in nine years. We'd happily return. I'd recommend booking, and 1.30 is a good lunch time if you'd like more personal attention before things get busy.

The trout is out of this world, the lamb is amazing, and the desserts are superb. We also found the prices outstanding for the quality. The team at Los Frutales are absolutely superb, from the welcome through the meal, and the place deserves a Michelin star. We've eaten at restaurants from Beijing to New York, and this one ranks among the very best. It's a gem. I used to wonder whether the Spanish aversion to tipping might affect restaurant staff's motivation and attention, but that certainly wasn't our experience here. Tip well to show your appreciation for eating at Los Frutales.

The waiter was very professional and knew the menu perfectly. We were lucky to be sitting near the chimney, since they opened the windows on a cold day because of covid, which was very uncomfortable. The starters were excellent, but the main course and dessert were average, so it felt expensive for what we got. The place also looks like a messy grandmother's house and could use a good designer.
