The administration gave me no confidence at all. Their communication was poor, explanations conflicted, and nobody seemed to take responsibility or respect students' belongings. I got the impression they kept finding reasons to take money, whether through deposit deductions, questionable utility charges, or other fees. In my case, they went into my room and dealt with my things without permission while I was already on my way back to collect them myself. All my food was thrown out, and after my belongings were moved, two T-shirts had gone missing and were never recovered. My roommate went through a similar situation. Then they kept €30 for a supposed extra night. After losing my food and part of my property, they still held on to more of my money. A student residence should feel trustworthy, but this place left me feeling the opposite. I'd be very cautious about choosing it, especially if you're coming from abroad.

So green around here, with forest nearby, and it's a really calm, well-organised place. Great for students, highly recommend it. It's got what you need to live.

Getting to the city center takes a while, about 40 minutes, and living alone here is a bit pricey. Sharing with someone makes it much cheaper than the city center, though. If you're studying at UAB, Vila is a convenient place to live, especially Bloque Q for master’s and Phd students. Weekly cleaning is provided, and university sport facilities like the gym and pool are included in the price.

Handy for staying near the university, with free shuttles running Monday to Friday between most of the campus and the renfe/FGC train stations. The site also has two cafes/restaurant, a supermarket, laundry, driving school, and a copisteria with an Amazon counter.
