Hotel Restaurante Villa Ceutí

We were Italian students on the Erasmus+ program and stayed here for six nights. The staff made us feel welcome when we arrived, even though they didn’t speak English, and the rooms were spotless then and every day after. We enjoyed the food throughout the stay, especially the chicken Paella and, for me, the Entrecote on our last day. The waiters were lovely. I’d like to come back and say hello to my friend Mario 😃

I was pleased with the room once it had warmed up. It was neat and small, but perfectly big enough for my short stay. The room felt cold when I came in, and the air conditioner took a while to heat it to the temperature I’d set. Breakfast starts at 6:00 a.m., which suited me as a busy traveller, though the choice was basic, just something sweet and coffee. The waiter was always friendly and made an exception for me, bringing a plate with a few slices of salami, ham, cheese, and two cold boiled eggs. The restaurant itself is lovely and usually packed, probably because the food is tasty. The building and even the interior looked recently renovated compared with older photos posted by other reviewers. There’s a small palm-filled park next door and parking behind the hotel. At checkout I needed an invoice for my boss, but the man at reception, who seemed more like a waiter, couldn’t help. He suggested emailing the hotel staff, and they replied quickly without any problem.

I won’t come back. The room was okay, but there was no shampoo or soap, only one towel for two people, and the toilet paper had already been used. Then I ordered a plate downstairs. While I was eating, I spotted a hair in my food. The waiter removed it and said it was something from the meat, but I know what a hair looks like. I asked for another piece of meat, and he returned with less than I’d already eaten and a nasty attitude.

The food was amazing, the service really good, and the prices reasonable.
