The old beams give the place a wonderful rustic feel, and the history of the house made it especially memorable. The owner and his family showed me around and told me about its past. I stayed in both 2018 and 2019, mainly because it’s a short way from the historic bull run at Cuellar, which remains a treasured memory for me. Chane is peaceful and lovely to walk around, with historic spots like the original town well. The rooms were clean, a normal size, with ensuite bathrooms and a boutique feel. It’s one of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed in. Even without staying overnight, it’s an easy day trip from Segovia or Valladolid.

The staff were always attentive, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxed. It’s a lovely restored house that still has its old-world character, with clean, cozy and comfortable rooms and breakfast included. A great base for exploring the area. I’ll definitely come back.

We were four of us visiting from the Canary Islands for three nights over Easter week, and had a lovely time. Carmen and her son were so welcoming from the start, and gave us useful tips on places to visit and, especially, where to find really good food. That’s what made the stay stand out for us. The inn has plenty of character and an old-fashioned charm, but still has all the modern comforts: spotless rooms, private bathrooms, Wi-Fi and TV. Thanks so much for everything. We’ll be back!

There’s lots of parking outside, and the receptionist was friendly. The place is quiet and welcoming. The only snag was that the shower water wasn’t very hot, though maybe it was just a one-time issue. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
