The food and view were both nice. Service could be a little slow sometimes, though everyone was very friendly.

The apartment we had wasn’t renovated, but it was in good condition. They have renovated some units and not others, so you get whichever one is available. Our large patio was hard to enjoy because there were so many mosquitoes. It was really excessive, and they need to think about treating the area more often. The complex itself has gardens and separate pools for adults and children, and the bar hasn’t opened this year because nobody has taken it over. The location is almost perfect: it’s close to the first access to La Barrosa beach, opposite the Atenas hotel. If you want a peaceful stay in a good spot, I’d recommend it, but the mosquitoes are a serious problem and need some kind of control treatment.

You can get to the coves and beaches, walk along the promenade, or head out through the pine woods for a hike. There’s also a great range of food nearby, from home-style cooking to gourmet options, all just a 15-meter walk away. This is a beautiful private residential complex with everything you need to spend a few days surrounded by nature. The price is quite high, but with so much going for it, I think anyone who wants to try it should go ahead without worrying about being disappointed.

The downside is what it costs: €2000 for 15 days in a three-bedroom house, some of which don’t have air conditioning, and €1800 for a two-bedroom one. Still, it’s a good resort for holiday rentals, with the best pool in the area, a playground for kids, and a good cleaning service. There’s a bar too, though the bartenders have only basic experience.
