Casagrande - La Barrosa

We slept really well here, even with the window open, because the place was so quiet. Everything you need for a holiday is provided, and it was spotless with a lovely, upbeat feel. The location made it easy to walk to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, and even an ice cream place. Ana was relaxed and helpful with anything we needed, and the woman who handles the cleaning was so kind. Thanks for such a nice stay at the Casagrande.

The room was lovely and clean, and smelled wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet setting, and La Barrosa beach is very close. Coffee pods and milk were left in the room, with the coffee machine downstairs. The common rooms and refrigerator are shared, and massages are available too. We loved our stay and recommend it ☺️

Ana at reception was warm and helpful, and the place was spotless. We also liked the pool, the comfortable shared lounge and the limited private parking. It’s a small place, though it doesn’t quite have the little extras that could make it excellent. There’s a shared kitchen and coffee machine, with two pods in the room, but no breakfast. Reception isn’t staffed all the time, and the room has no complimentary water, just a jug in the kitchen. Shampoo and bath gel are provided, but not soap. Some bedroom furniture is old and missing handles, and the bed creaks. These seem like easy, low cost things to sort out that would make a stay more satisfying.

We felt very comfortable here, thanks in large part to Ana’s wonderful service. The house is bright, fully renovated, and has parking. There’s a big shared area where you can eat breakfast or dinner, plus lovely green space and pools. It’s close to the beach but tucked into a residential neighborhood, so it stays peaceful and quiet. Casagrande is a great place to unwind, and we’ll be back.
