The only issue in my room was some dampness, since its window faced a corridor and let in very little light. Still, I'd absolutely recommend this place. It's good value, the beds are comfortable, and the hostel and rooms are very clean. Towels were changed each day and anything we needed was replenished. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided very good service. It's within walking distance of the center and surrounded by all sorts of shops, and parking was easy. If I'm back in Chiclana, I'd stay here again.

It's a basic hostel that's kept very clean and in good condition. The staff are friendly when things are going smoothly, but when there's a problem they dodge responsibility and make excuses. A party at the neighboring property kept guests awake on Saturday night. There are phones outside, but nobody answered, and nobody took action. We raised it the next morning and were told someone had been at reception, which wasn't true. Neither the landline nor the mobile was answered. It may not have been a serious emergency, but guests still couldn't rest, and a business should support its customers when something goes wrong. If it had been something more important, I doubt the owners would have taken responsibility.

The beds are really comfortable, the place is very clean, and the cleaning staff are friendly. For a hostel it's quite good, and the price is reasonable. Chiclana town center is a ten-minute walk, though getting to the beach takes a terrible 20-minute drive.

The rooms were clean and smelled nice, and the staff were attentive. There's also a marked smoking area with a table. The center, restaurants, cafes, seafood places, supermarkets and more are all very close. What kept me from sleeping well was the noise early in the morning, with the cleaning staff moving furniture. The walls are thin too, so I could hear the person next door talking. For a hostel, though, it's quite acceptable.
