Hospedería Casa De La Campana

Everything about our stay was idyllic, from the setting and accommodation to the service. When we arrived, the welcome was warm and the help was really useful. Sonja was wonderful to deal with, and we’d gladly recommend Casa del Campana. We hope to come back next year. 🇨🇦

The breakfast was superb, and the whole stay felt welcoming and peaceful, with cozy lounges, a fireplace and lovely views. The accommodation is charming, beautifully decorated, very clean and full of pretty little corners. Surrounded by fruit trees in blossom, it’s a lovely choice for anyone wanting quiet and a break from mass tourism. We found this rural place through the tourism incentive program in the Murcia region. Sonia was especially helpful from our very first contact, taking care of all the arrangements and sharing excellent recommendations for restaurants, nearby places to visit and hiking trails. Our stay felt much too short, so we plan to return.

For what you get, I found it simply too expensive. The location is very quiet, although there is clearing and landscaping work around the hotel at the moment, during the Cieza flower festival, and that brings noise and dust. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with modern bathrooms, but they’re quite basic and have no place to sit or desk. Breakfast is a simple buffet, with coffee from a thermos only, no espresso and so on. Nobody checks whether guests need anything or whether there’s enough. Wi-Fi in the rooms is weak and unreliable, and there’s no information there about the hotel’s services.

It feels like being out in the countryside, and the cleanliness is a 10/10. The food was very good too. If you usually sleep well, this place is ideal for unwinding, and the personalized service is exquisite. We’ll definitely be back. Best regards.
