Can Clotas

We enjoyed such a slow, peaceful morning here that we barely wanted to do anything before the noon checkout. The hotel itself and its grounds are beautiful, and our larger room had a loft, outdoor terrace, and huge bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and quiet. The front desk staff were friendly at both check-in and check-out. Olga’s dinner was incredible, and the fresh cheesecake and tatate, like apple pie, were the best I’ve ever tasted. Coffee is available all day for a small charge, while water and tea are free. There are lovely places to read inside and outside. Dinner was the one frustrating part: with only one chef for everyone, the wait was long. We were asked if 9 pm was okay, but the food didn’t arrive until 9:40. The server seemed overwhelmed and didn’t offer water or wine for at least 20 minutes, so we had to get her attention. Even so, that meal was one of the best I’ve had.

Claudia at reception made us feel at home right away and went out of her way to handle our late arrival. Nothing seemed to be a problem. We spent a perfect weekend here, enjoyed a delicious dinner, and loved the beautiful pool. Can Clotas is ideal for relaxing, listening to the birds, and simply taking it easy. I’d happily stay again.

The countryside setting is so peaceful, with lovely scenery, but Can Clotas is still easy to reach and close to a main yet quiet road. It’s a beautifully renovated mas that keeps its old features, and the rooms are both charming and very comfortable. We even had a cozy lounge in ours. The welcome was warm, and both dinner and breakfast were generous and delicious. We had a wonderful stay, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The pool was a peaceful haven, and we spent many happy days relaxing there. We stayed for a week on half board, and the food was consistently delicious. Being able to order meals in advance on WhatsApp was especially handy with the children, who could choose without being rushed. Niko also kindly gave my partner a quick wine tasting one evening, a thoughtful extra. Our room was always clean, with the beds made daily. From the moment we arrived, Sarah, Niko, and the whole team were brilliant and made us feel as if the hotel had been tailored to us. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful family-friendly stay and will definitely return.
