BH Almanzor

I left after just one night and moved to another hotel. The room door could be pushed open even when locked, the entrance door was difficult to open, and the framed escape route plan was falling apart. The place felt rundown and old-fashioned, as if it hadn't had any investment in 25 years. My room's air conditioning was completely broken, a real problem in July when it's hot all day and night. I couldn't leave the windows open because roads surround the hotel and it never gets properly quiet. The fan they gave me was so loud it wasn't useful for sleeping, and the radiator pipes in the bathroom were extremely rusty. The radiator had a note saying it was broken and must not be switched on, which might be a serious issue in winter. The bathroom smelled strongly of chlorine, far more than the slight smell that's normal in Spain. Paying by credit card wasn't possible because staff said the system was temporarily broken. Other reviewers have also mentioned this, so it could be a scam. There were too many downsides. Just turn around and go somewhere else.
