The room was quite large, with good beds and pillows. The shower was big, but the showerhead was poor and fell down. Wi-Fi was good, though a bit slow for media and photos. The hotel looks impressive and spacious, and the reception and restaurant staff were friendly. They don't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem for us. Check-in was perfect, and when we found our room smelled strongly of smoke or drugs, the lady at reception sorted out a new room straight away. We ate well at the hotel. There's a cool swimming pool that we didn't use, and the hotel parking garage is very good.

A very good hotel in a handy location. The underground parking is a big plus.

We could park our bikes for free before check-in, which was at 16:00. Excellent service.

It's a beautiful old hotel, but the welcome was cool. Nobody acknowledged our request for a nice view and balcony or our question about a local cheese factory. The room had no windows, just a horrible door leading to a passage and the outside. Breakfast was very basic. Such a shame.

Breakfast was great, and the pool was a welcome way to cool down after a hot day of travel. The traditional look is lovely, with classic decor that made the place feel like a murder mystery setting. Reception service was wonderful too. There could be more plug sockets and the wiring could be better, though that seems to come with the old-fashioned style.
