The bar’s hours were handy, and Yola made the tastiest tortilla francesa con queso I’ve ever had. Both receptionists were lovely too, with plenty of tips and help to make our stay in Menorca easy. It’s a quiet, family-like place close to the beach, and the city centre is a short ride by bike, scooter or cab. The apartments are basic but have what you need, even WiFi. There’s no air-conditioning, but they provide a fan. We opened the windows on warm nights and didn’t have any mosquito trouble. We were very happy with the place, its location and the service.

We’re clean here, and the staff are friendly, but we still need to sleep, especially on holiday when there’s time to rest. The apartment has two bedrooms, which was why I booked an 11-night stay, but the heat has made it impossible for me to sleep. There’s no air-conditioning, and the rooms are incredibly hot and uncomfortable. I’ve never paid so much to suffer this badly on a holiday. I also found the beach distance misleading. At the bar, we were served a package of bread that had already been opened and, in my view, looked like food someone had eaten and paid for already. I don’t recommend booking in high season. I’m stuck here for eight more nights.

The service was good, and the staff were helpful and nice. The small apartments are pleasant, with shared facilities including a pool, tennis court and more. It’s a nice spot, not far from the seaside. Recommended.
