I had such a lovely holiday. The facilities are excellent, and it seems the place had a big refurbishment recently, because everything is now to a really high standard. Every staff member, including the cleaners, was outstanding, and I can't rate the hotel or its facilities highly enough. I don't understand why it only has a 4.2 rating. I can only assume some of those ratings came before the refurbishment, since I can't imagine anyone giving this place less than 5. Highly recommended!

This was one of my favourite hotels. We stayed for a week, and it was lovely and quiet, with no rush about the place. Everyone on the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. I’ll be back soon.

We found plenty of good places to eat nearby. Thai garden and Asador on Egin were our favourites, and Med bar was good for watching football. The ice cream hut next door serves fantastic gelato flavours, so make sure you stop there. The pool area was immaculate, with comfortable sunbeds and plenty of parasols, so there was no need to fight over a spot. The water was clean, refreshing and a good depth for swimming. Food and drinks were well priced, cheaper than at other hotels we've stayed in. There are two menus, though: poolside service at your sunbed, or the restaurant inside and outside, with different options and prices. Poolside is cheaper. I don't really understand why they do that. The location is excellent, with the beech a short 50m walk one way and the harbour the other. The hotel has been refurbished immaculately. Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day, the beds are comfortable and the shower is lovely. Breakfast has lots of good quality options. The hotel is cashless, though you can load money onto your wristband. The wristbands seemed pointless to me, since cards are accepted for food and drinks anyway. They only get you into your room, and I found them annoying to wear, so I took mine off after a couple of days. We always found free parking by the sea on Passeig Maritimo, across the bridge. I wouldn't bother paying the 10 euro a day parking fee. It's quieter over there, and the roads around the hotel are busy with visitors to the beech, so your car seems more likely to get damaged on this side. A gym or fitness centre would be a good addition for anyone who wants to exercise. I ended up doing a few 5K routes along the coast roads in both directions.

We were a bit worried because the hotel had only reopened eight weeks earlier after its refurbishment, but it turned out great and we’ll definitely come back. The pool needed more shade in the heat, so we mentioned the shortage of umbrellas. The next day, they bought eight more and put them up. The hotel is close to the marina, restaurants and shops, and just two minutes from a lovely sandy beach cove. Breakfast had everything you could want, was kept well stocked and was a high standard. We ate there one evening too, and the food was amazing. If you were staying on half board, you might want more choice, but what we had, and what we saw others eating, was excellent. The place was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful.
