Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa

We’re already looking forward to coming back in September. The restaurant has a good range at breakfast and dinner, so there’s always something we enjoy. Cynthia kept everything organised, and she, Jesus and the rest of the team took great care of us. Our room was cleaned each day, with fresh linen and towels whenever we needed them. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and reception are always ready to help. This was another stay at our favourite hotel.

We asked to have the same room as last year, and the friendly staff accommodated us. They even left fresh fruit and champagne for our arrival, then another bottle on my partner’s birthday while we were away. It made for another lovely week, and we’ll be back. The hotel is peaceful and very clean throughout. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the location was handy for both the beaches and the marina. This was our second year staying here.

There’s a grocery store right across the street, and the hotel lends out beach towels and small umbrellas. At the beach you can rent a lounger and umbrella if you want, though we mostly stayed in the water and went back to our room between beach sessions. We booked through hotels.com without really knowing what to expect, but the staff answered all my questions before the trip and during our stay, and made us feel welcome. The hotel was clean, the pool was well maintained, and we already want to return.

On my first trip to Menorco, I found a lovely pool and a great hotel in a good location. There was always space for a sun lounger without reserving one, and the staff were friendly throughout. Lucia in the restaurant gave especially good service. A beautiful, though busy, beach is just a two-minute walk away.
