Hotel Abril 37

Paola at reception was so kind and thoughtful. She gave us restaurant tips, including places in the town we were moving to after our stay, and pointed out spots around town not to miss. She made everything easy and was quick to help. Thank you, Paula, for the hospitality. We hope to return. The room was bright, tidy and clean, with a storage cabinet, TV, spacious ensuite bathroom and mini fridge. Free espresso was available, along with other drinks for purchase. We enjoyed a drink on the terrace overlooking the large fruit and vegetable garden, where two endangered tortuga (turtles), lizards and birds live. It was such a lovely place to rest. The location was also great, near the old town and a small grocery store just around the corner. There was free street parking and a convenient spot to drop off bags at the door. A short walk down the street takes you to the castell on the pedestrian walkway down to the port. This hotel was a bright spot on our trip to Ciutadella.

Hotel Abril 37 feels cozy and private, with only a small number of rooms, so you don't keep running into other guests. It's within walking distance of the old center, and there are a few free parking spots nearby, handy if you've rented a car. The rooms are nice, quiet and pleasant, a refreshing place to come back to after a day in the heat. The staff were very helpful with directions and any trip issues.

Paola greeted us in the afternoon and was lovely. The room was lovely too, with all the amenities provided. I do think the bathroom could be laid out differently to make better use of the space and easier to use.

The people here are lovely, and it’s a great place to stay. They also care for endangered tortoises native to Menorca. Go and stay, you’ll enjoy it.
