Nuvolet Apartaments

It's quiet, very clean and only 10 minutes from the center, so it's quite recommendable, though maybe a bit expensive. There aren't many kitchen utensils and there's no oven. When we arrived, a set of sheets was missing, but they sorted it out right away.

The location was a plus, and the pool was the only reason I gave a star. Inside, though, the apartment smelled strongly of damp. We found mold in the bathroom, which had neither a fan nor a window, and with seven people the humidity became a problem. The kitchen had an unidentified black stain, possibly dirt or poop, and sauce on the wall above the stove. There were ants by the sofa bed too. The fridge and washing machine both leaked. When evening came, we couldn't open the broken sofa bed. The booking was for seven, but there weren't enough plates, glasses, or cutlery. A pretty dramatic stay, and the apartment wasn't suitable for seven people. Cleanliness was practically nonexistent.

The location is the one redeeming point, close to Ciutadella's center, restaurants, and some very beautiful beaches. The apartment itself was dirty when we arrived, with stains on the floors, walls, and sheets. There were ants throughout the house, and the only bathroom for seven guests had mold and no ventilation. The sofa bed was broken, and both the washing machine and refrigerator leaked. The host barely responded to our complaints. I really wouldn't recommend staying here.

The pool and terrace were the only good parts I can think of, though other apartments have those too. We couldn't get any rest: children were having a party with loud music that night, and the mattress and pillow were terrible. Earlier, from 3 pm until 5:30 pm, pruning the bushes made such a racket that we couldn't sleep even though we were exhausted. There were hairs on the floor that weren't ours, and a strong smell as soon as we entered. The air conditioning was running full blast but didn't work, and there was only one unit, in the dining area. We asked to check out at 12 pm so we could use the morning to go to a cove, as at other hotels, but they said no.
