Hostal Ciutadella

The location was perfect, close to everything but on a quiet street. The room was small but comfortable and cleaned daily. The restaurant was good, and breakfast in the morning was filling. The bed wasn’t comfortable. That seems to be a European thing unless you’re staying in a four star hotel, where springy mattresses are what to expect. The front desk staff weren’t very friendly, but they gave us the information we needed, more or less. Good value for the money.

We went in July and still found free parking spaces every day. The location is ideal, with bars and shops just steps away and the city centre a ten-minute walk. The staff were friendly, and although the place is basic, it’s extremely clean. We’d definitely come back.

We arrived a little ahead of time, so the front desk lady took us to the sister hotel, little Ciutadella? It honestly felt like an upgrade. The location was great, close to all the Ciutadella spots.

It’s in the town centre, which is handy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable, and everything was very clean. If you’re okay with a small room, I’d recommend checking this place out. Just don’t expect spectacular views.
