It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Marina, with bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops along the way, and the main beach area is on that route too. There’s also a lovely little cove near the resort, reached by walking straight down from the corner of the dining area. It has shops, beach bars, and restaurants. Two loungers and a parasol cost £21 euros for the day, and it was well worth visiting. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and beautiful. There are several pool areas, including quieter spots if the busy main pool feels too noisy. Food was tasty with lots of choice, but it was served too cold every day. That was my only complaint; otherwise, I’d have given it five stars.

The hotel is close to the beach, and a taxi to the marina is only around 8 euros. We went the week before UK half term, so the bar was easy to use, though I can imagine the queues getting long in half term. It was quicker for me to buy bottled drinks and snacks at the supermarket than wait at the hotel bar. The staff were polite and friendly, but I left a little underwhelmed for a four-star hotel. The food was generally good, though on our last night there was mostly fish or pork, which suited us. I did wonder if guests with religious dietary restrictions who didn’t want fish might have been left with only a few vegetables. The serving layout could also work better: proteins and sides are scattered, so you end up checking what’s available before getting a plate, then weaving through people on your way back to the table. The main pools with slides were my biggest disappointment, especially for families. The toddler splash area is great, but the slides come out into a larger pool that’s 1.9m deep. If your young child is learning to swim and still needs armbands or floaties, you can’t stand in the pool to wait for them. A depth of 1.2m or 1.5m would make that easier and safer for parents and children. Our room was small, with a double bed and a fold-out bed, a place to hang things, shelves, one small table inside, and one chair. There was a table and two chairs on the balcony. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool, and the shower was very good, but sound carried easily between rooms and we struggled to sleep. The floors were quite dirty when we arrived, enough that we had to brush our feet before getting into bed. There’s no second lock, chain, or latch on the room door or balcony, which could be a concern if you have little escape artists. There’s a small fridge for groceries from the many local markets. A kettle costs 3 euros a day to rent. The balcony clothes airer was fixed on the south side, while our balcony faced east, so our clothes got no sun after about 11. We ended up hanging them over the balcony instead. The airer would have worked better on the other side.

Sol Falco has always been reliable, and I’m sure we’ll keep making lovely memories there. I’ve been coming since before I could walk, and now at 25 I still visit with my family. This time I brought my partner too. I wouldn’t consider another hotel in Menorca; Sol Falco has never let us down. The staff, facilities, and location are all excellent. Our room was immaculately clean and refreshed daily. The bathroom door caught a little, and there seemed to be slight water damage on the ceiling near the entrance, but neither affected our stay. There was plenty of food choice, as usual, though, as others have said, it wasn’t always very warm. There’s lots of parking at and around the hotel, and a good range of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I’m already looking forward to visiting again.

The beach is beautiful and so close, and we had a really nice holiday at Sol Falco. I was there all inclusive with my two young kids. They first put us on the first floor, but when I explained that the pram made it difficult, the staff were brilliant and moved us to a ground-floor room, even offering to help with our things. I did find it odd that the ground-floor balconies have no rail or fence to keep little ones from running off. The pools were clean and the slides were great fun. The maids came in daily to change towels and keep things maintained. There was always food available and it was OK, though the fruit was never ripe. The entertainment looked good, but it was far too loud for my six-year-old daughter, so we didn’t go. There’s also a very steep staircase beside the entertainment with no gate, so watch young children there. The cup coin system was incredibly annoying. You have to trade coins for cups, then return the cups to get another drink, which was a pain if we’d been out all day and just wanted a coffee or drink at the bar. Thanks, Sol Falco ❤️

There are seven pools, with quieter ones for relaxing and a main pool that’s great for families. The restaurant is spacious, and there are plenty of places around the hotel to sit and unwind. The staff were welcoming and friendly at check-in and throughout our stay, always responding to what we needed. We had an amazing holiday at Sol Falco!
