The staff were generally excellent and friendly. The animation team were particularly good, and Iro in the restaurant was superb. Half-board food was decent overall, though the choices were sometimes limited. The rooms are tired and old, and reception didn't really help when we asked to move. There were lots of broken sunbeds at the large pool. Management needs an urgent upgrade plan for the three hotels bought on the site. There's also an abandoned restaurant in one area and some old white staff and equipment sheds between the hotels that need removing. Unfortunately, we wouldn't choose to return.

The location was the only real plus for me, and I won’t stay here again. The bedroom windows and balcony doors wouldn’t shut all the way, leaving gaps that let the heat in despite the air conditioning. You could also hear everything outside at night. The kitchenette was old and falling apart, and the shower had no pressure. The shower gel was still sealed, so we couldn’t use it for the first two nights, even after asking twice. At breakfast, finding a clean plate or cutlery was a struggle.

The spot by a small beach was a highlight, with lovely clear water where we went snorkeling every day. Food was good and varied, and my wife, who doesn’t eat meat, always found plenty she liked at the buffet. We stayed six nights with our 11-year-old son and had a great time. The rooms, pool area, and gardens were kept clean, with staff working around the place all the time. It could use an update, with the odd missing tile, damaged plaster, and paintwork needing attention. I saw some repairs underway, so they know about it. We’d love to come back and probably will.

Mariba was really helpful, and the rest of the staff were excellent too. We especially enjoyed the entertainment.
