Villa Marinda

The entertainment and staff were great, and the marina is only a five-minute walk away. But we wouldn't come back to Marinda Gardens. Our room wasn't great, and we had to keep the curtains closed because we looked straight into other people's apartments. The food was warm and tasteless, so we ate out every day. The only meal we had in the restaurant was breakfast, with fruit, coffee, and toast. Then on Thursday, there was a RAT drinking from a hotel bowl by the pool. I asked staff if anyone would remove it; it stayed there for around 20 minutes before someone did. They said it must be dying to be there, but that's absolutely filthy. Just got home after five days and wanted to share the honest positives and negatives.

A clean, well-organized place with friendly, helpful staff. We stayed with our four-year-old, who loved the kids' activities, and we enjoyed them too. The adult entertainment was just as fun, and we had a great stay. Highly recommend it! 😊

The entertainment team kept everyone busy, from cookery and cocktail sessions to Spanish lessons and activities the children loved. Kuba and his team were full of energy, with quizzes, shows and visiting acts in the evenings. We also really enjoyed the food, especially the cheeses and salads and the fresh meat cooked on the grill; there was plenty of choice, and the restaurant staff cleared tables quickly. The grounds at Marinda Garden are beautifully kept, and there were always enough loungers to find four together around the pool. The Papaya bar nearby had snacks and self-service soft drinks and beer, and the staff were friendly, so queues were rare. We arrived early and Magda and the reception team made us feel welcome while our room was being cleaned. It was ready soon after, and we were glad we’d upgraded to an upstairs room. The balcony had a balustrade bed that was lovely for reading early in the morning. Housekeeping kept the room spotless with daily cleaning except Wednesdays or Sundays, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning kept it cool even in the summer heat. We had an amazing holiday and have already booked to come back next year. Magda, Marisol, Kuba, Laura and Juan all helped make it memorable. Our group of 15 made some fabulous memories at Marinda Garden Aparthotel, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. It’s well placed, about five minutes from the marina and ten from the beach. The rooms were clean and lovely, with air conditioning that worked really well. There was plenty of delicious food, and they always managed to find something for the vegetarian in our group and the person who needed gluten-free food. The cocktails were amazing too. The staff were all lovely, especially the entertainment team, who seemed to be working around the clock with activities for kids and adults. We had a brilliant time at the foam party and on the water mat.
