The house was dirty when we arrived, including old, poorly kept kitchenware that we had to clean before using. We also found cockroaches inside during our stay, which is completely unacceptable at this price. Outside, several pieces of furniture were broken or very worn, so we couldn’t enjoy those areas as we’d hoped. The published photos don’t show the property’s actual condition, and the price feels excessive for a place with such poor cleanliness, maintenance, and furnishings. The value for money was very poor. We wouldn’t recommend Villa Colmenar unless it gets a thorough clean, the cockroach problem is controlled, and the furniture and kitchenware are replaced. The photos should also be updated so other guests aren’t disappointed the same way.
