Apartamentos Playa La Franca

The sea is only a short walk away, and there’s plenty to explore nearby. We had a lovely time, with beautiful apartments and great landlords. Thank you so much!

We came in May and are already planning to return next year. The apartment is peaceful and lovely, just right for switching off and relaxing. It’s also only five minutes from the highway and close to the sea, so there are all sorts of tourist activities within easy reach. The owner gave us a warm, professional welcome. See you next year!

The hosts were very friendly and gave us plenty of tips on places to eat and visit, and we had a good experience. Some of the appliances were old and outdated, though. Also, smoking isn’t allowed, even outside.

We left after one night of a five night stay, relieved to find somewhere else in a hurry, but the disruption badly affected the rest of our holiday. The owner, Joseba, had an excuse or justification for everything. These accommodations shouldn’t be offered in this condition, and I hope the next guests have better luck. There were problems throughout the apartment. The sheets smelled musty, the towels were awful, and the bathroom flooded when I tried to shower because the drain was clogged. The skylight in the living room had no curtain, so daylight would wake you up. The first apartment we were offered had a small, uncomfortable sofa; the one in the second was old and worn. It was cold when we arrived. The thermostat didn’t work because the owner controlled and programmed the heating as he wanted. Some radiators were only lukewarm, and we woke around 2 a.m. when the heating was off and we were cold. The apartment itself was dirty, along with the cutlery, coffee maker, and pans, some of which were rusty too. Outside, the picnic area was filthy, and the barbecue grills were old, broken, and dirty.
