I didn’t stay here, just stopped in for lunch after walking all day in the rain on Camino Santiago. I was starving, and the sopa mariscos followed by fabada Asturiana really hit the spot. That seafood soup was the real thing, with crab legs, prawns still in their shells, and fish served on the bones. It’s the best meal I’ve had in a while.

Right on the Camino Del Norte, which is handy for anyone walking it. The room was very nice and clean, but the staff were the real highlight. They went above and beyond with their service.

Repollo Relleno de Carne Guisada. Get it. It’s so good. I promise. Braised beef rolled into cabbage leaves and simmered in a delectable sauce, with fried potato’s. After a long day on the trail this was divine. The place was packed with hikers and just one man took care of us all, absolute legend never stopped moving. No English, no nonsense, told us what’s good, and cut us off trying to order more than we would’ve had room for, much appreciated sir!
