We stayed for a week, and Julia and her team made everything feel perfect. The place is peaceful, with spacious, spotless, comfortable rooms, most looking out over the sea, the pool, or both. There are lovely decorated living rooms on both floors, games for kids, and drinks and ice cubes available 24/7. The team is warm, efficient, and very human. There’s also a huge parking area. We hope we can come back someday!

Our room was nice, and they upgraded us to one with a lovely view. There wasn’t a dedicated place for bikes, but the staff were happy to help us keep them in a shared space overnight until morning.

The common rooms are beautiful, the ocean views are lovely, and the rooms are impeccable. It’s an amazing castle-like place, with a very friendly woman at reception. We skipped breakfast, though I’m sure it must be good. The only tiny drawback is that it’s a bit far from anything.

At night, the thick old walls and double doors kept the room completely quiet. Mine was wonderfully looked after, and the sun porch opened onto views of the ocean and the Picos. A beautiful hotel, with staff who were exceptional.

The hotel sits in a lovely spot by the sea, right at the foot of a beautiful mountain. I stayed one night on a surfing trip, and the Spanish-Dutch woman at the desk was so kind. I didn't see an elevator or an accessible ramp, which is the downside. Still, it's a nice place to spend a few days in the area.
