Hotel Monte y Mar

A peaceful spot, run by a very friendly couple. The room is small but cozy. If you're traveling with a pet, you can have breakfast on the terrace without a problem.

We had a fantastic stay at The Island, tucked beside the beach in a very quiet area. The small double room had everything we needed to feel at home, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, especially the croissants. Staff were so warm and welcoming. There's no elevator, but just two floors, and the stairs are easy enough. Thanks to Diego and Diana for their recommendations :)

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself is modern, very clean, and well furnished. Parking nearby was limited, though going in the last week of June and during a quieter beach period made it easier for us. The stairs are easy to manage, and staff offered to take our luggage up. Still, no elevator is noticeable when you have children who fall asleep.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the beach is close by, but we felt the price was a little high. Our room and bathroom were small and poorly soundproofed, though toiletries were supplied. Getting upstairs means taking a narrow staircase, with no elevator. The private parking is some distance from the hotel, and you have to secure it yourself with a chain and padlock so non-guests can't get in.
