Hotel Natura Park

Half board left my children hungry. The buffet wasn't enough, and there were no vegetarian or vegan choices. Even the salads had meat in them. There were plenty of nearby restaurants, thankfully. We were itching the whole time at the hotel and couldn't work out why. The dark tiles and old floral bedding made it hard to spot anything. After we got home, we found what seemed to be a bedbug infestation. We believe the bugs came back in our luggage, and possibly on our bodies. Within days, our home and furniture were infested and ruined. We had to throw out beds and bring in professionals to treat the house.

The breakfast buffet was really nice, with hot food and staff cleaning and replenishing it quickly. The front desk staff were friendly too. My room at the back had no view, but that wasn't why I was there. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom with its sink, bathtub, shower, bidet, and toilet. The beds were comfortable, and I'd stay here again :)

The staff were all friendly and cheerful, and the beach and local shops are just a five-minute walk away. In low season, parking on the street outside was easy. It's a good choice for an off-season weekend break. The room was a decent size, very clean, and had a balcony with a distant sea view. The beds felt a little soft for me, though I still slept well. Meals are buffet style, with wholesome food in enough quantity for even hearty appetites. It's not Michelin-star quality, but for the price I can't complain. Bring cash if you want wine or water, since you can't charge those to your room.

The clean rooms are a plus, though the design feels a bit outdated. The food is decently tasty, just nothing special for a 4-star hotel. There are no umbrellas at the pool, and the terrace has nowhere to put clothes, towels, or swimsuits. Some rooms have no suitcase rack, there aren't enough electrical outlets, and there were no hangers when we arrived. The rooms seem built for two, yet they put three or four people in them. There are two beds, each 1.4 m wide, so apparently two adults are expected to share one bed. How is that supposed to work? There are also dangerous sharp objects on the terrace door.
